Fridays 9:30-12:00  12 months - 4 years
Parents can leave their children in the play area where they are supervised and involved in activities.  

Developed by Health Canada, this is a package program used by health professionals working with and supporting parents around the issues of parenting.

Tuesdays 3:00-5:30 Ages 4 -12 
Parents can leave their children at the Centre where they will receive their supper and be supervised and involved in activities.

This program supports families experiencing stress regarding rent arrears, power bills and the possibility of evictions and disconnections. The Centre works with tenants helping them get back on track.

The Centre pays the rent and power bills
Advocates to have power restored
Negotiates with landlords regarding back rent.Arranges to pay on arrears.

Learn and create gifts for friends and family, enhancing your home and letting your creative side create.

Cooking

Parents enjoy the benefits of nutritious low-cost meal ideas they prepare in a fun setting. Step-by-step recipes are provided.

We do advocacy for families regarding:

Landlord/tenant disputes
Legal issues
Attend court hearings in support of parents dealing with family children's services and criminal undertaking
Support non-custodial parents with meeting space and supervision for access visits

Baby Time

Mondays 10-11:30 am 
Drop in with your baby aged 0-24 months, Play, read and share the power of Moms and Dads. Nurse available twice a month

Youth Group

Thursdays 5-7 pm
Meets weekly to engage pre-teens (ages 9-12) in positive social activities.  A different activity is planned for each week – movies, swimming, games, etc.

Walking club

Tuesdays 10 am-12 pm
Walk around your city, excursions to local parks, fitness facilities, special events and fun. A healthy snack is provided after each session.

Child development

Offered three times a week from Tuesdays-Thursdays 9:30 am – 12:00 pm for children ages 2 1/2-4 years old.   Activities focus on socialization, cognitive skill development, language and physical development.
