Offered three times a week from 9:30 am — 12:00 pm for children ages 2-4 years old. Activities focus on socialization, cognitive skill development, language and physical development, and identifying early signs of learning disabilities.
Provides parents a brief period of respite. Parents can leave their children in the play area where they are supervised and involved in activities for a period of 2.5 hrs. This is an open and informal program that is very flexible. This program is for children ages 0—6 years old.
This group meets weekly to engage preteens (ages 10-12 years old) in positive social activities. A different activity is planned for each week: movies, swimming, games, etc.
Summer Fun Activities
The Resource Centre offers a summer fun program for children ages 5—10 years old. Nutritious snacks and well balanced lunches are provided.
The Resource Centre celebrates special holidays i.e. Valentine’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day. During these special times of the year we plan special programs and activities.
March Break for Moms
The Resource Centre offers a week of programs with activities and workshops for mothers i.e. Cooking, Spa Day, self-esteem, parenting, exercise class and a special brunch at the end of the week for all those who participated in the activities and workshops.
